Hanging out with Aaron in SunRiver this weekend. I wont be skiing but Aaron is going to take Snow Boarding lessions. Looking forward to just taking it easy in the lodge.
I will post pictures of the house we are staying in. Very nice and looking for nice weather.
Leg is still very sore but I think it will still be a great weekend for me and Aaron.
Talk to you later.

Quick Update
Well:
Went to the Blazer Game with Theresa last week on Wednesday it was a lot of fun and they beat the hell out of the Bucks!!
I got the report back from my Dermatologist Friday and the biopsy on my lip came back negative! So good news. Just need to follow up in 6 months.
I had an uneventful weekend. Did not do a whole lot on Saturday. Went swimming with Cam on Sunday. It was about a 30 minute workout. Good to get back to swimming.
However, it been a very crappy week so far. My right hip has been on fire the last two days. So bad I have been having a lot of trouble walking. It is a deep pain right in hip joint. When I move it around it is extremely painful, tight and makes a knocking noise. Very weird! I am icing down and using heat. It really has not helped. I am getting around at work by limping. It is hurting my left leg a lot.
I am also back taking a ton of Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Sucks!! Sucks a lot!!! I am suppose to go with Aaron on a trip to mountains this weekend for Boy Scouts. It will be the first trip since the 2008 Florida Seabase trip with Cam.
I hope things settle down, if they don't it will be another weekend at home instead of camping!
Keep your fingers crossed.

First Weeked of the New Year
Very glad it is the weekend! All though it is a busy one.
It all started with a late Friday afternoon appointment with the Dermatologist. After my Chemo my Doctor had suggested I go once a year and get check ups just to make sure I don't have anything that may turn into cancer. However, I never did what my Doctor said until now . Theresa pushed me fairly hard to do it because of some spots she saw on my back.
Good news is my back is fine. I have some age spots and couple of other spots that my Doctor wants to watch but no big deal so far. She did unfortunately, want to take a sample of the mole on my lip. It hurt like hell but its feeling better today. I have a nice big stitch in my lip which looks lovely but its fine. I will get the results in about 10 days.
Cameron and I went to his Robotics Kickoff meeting this morning at 6AM!!!! That was fun...Felt like a work day. Very exciting program and well managed. The kids are very excited about new Game and Robot they are going to build. They will then go to competitions and if all goes well they could go to the National Competition in Atlanta!!
The only down side of the meeting was 2 hours of sitting in a Gym on the bleachers. Not good at all!!
Got home about 9:30am and my right hip started aching. It has progressively gotten worse. By lunchtime I could hardly walk. I have been taking more Tylenol and Ibuprofen which helps for awhile. I really wish it would go away for good. It has been a very long time since I was totally pain free.
I know things are going to get better just need to keep working on feeling better.
Sunday is a much slower day so I can rest my hip.
Have a good night

HAPPY NEW YEAR
I hope everyone had a great Holiday! I know I did..
It was a great Christmas and a fun New Year. It has, as always, been very very busy.
My hips are OK but sore. Today I am sure its is due to the New Years eve party last night and all standing around I did.
The only thing that sucks about this Holiday Season is the DUCKS loss to OHIO STATE!! They played well but could not shut them down and win one for the Pac-Ten!!!
Regarding 2010....I am praying the years of Greg are over and we start living our lives.
I am however a bit un-nerved by a few things. My blood counts, I will have to wait until February to verify I am OK. What makes it worse is the redness on face or blotchiness that wont go away. The last time I had it was right before and during my Chemo. It is below both eyes and over my nose.
Also, Theresa has noticed some strange pimples on my back. They are very itchy and are spreading. It reminds me of the virus Cameron had when he was very young. We had to have the doctor scrap them off. If it is a virus I am very worried it is an indication my HCL is back and an indication my immune system is going down. In which case the Year of Greg is not over and that total with out a doubt SUCKS!!!
My energy level still is not good but I have not been trying to work out or do anything to rehab myself. So until I start doing it I have no one to blame but myself.
I plan on setting an appointment with a Dermatologist and figure out what is going on and fix it. If I need to I will get a CBC before my appointment in February.
I just want all this to go away. I way to much going on this year and I so tired of dealing with health issues or being afraid that something may happen. It is no way to live life.
To be honest it is getting very difficult to remember a time when I didn't think about how I feel or worry if my legs will hurt or if I might get sick or being tired! I am very very frustrated and not sure what to do. I realize all of this is totally out of my control but I just want it to stop!!
Here's hoping for a worry free 2010!!
Take care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!
Well......
Finally got through the first boring stretch at work...Everyone shuts down during the Christmas and New Years week. Very Boring not much going on...
Also got through a week of shopping and more shopping!! Not too bad this year as we down sized the gift giving...SORT OF!! Even blew off shopping last Saturday for Happy Hour!!! Great way to start the Holiday Cheer.
Hips have been OK with all the walking and shopping. I have done zero PT which a very bad idea. Both hips are stiff and getting sore. I need to get moving on swimming and bike riding.
2 months until I go back for my Blood Work re-check. I have been wondering whats going on. Is it still normal or has it started heading south. We will see in February. I am still having fatigue issues and I am working through it. I think the more exercise I get the better I will feel.
Glad the weather is not as rough this year but I do miss the snow!!
Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Seattle Visit
Well, I met with my Ortho Surgeon yesterday in Seattle. By the way, very long and boring drive!
Anyway, he took pictures of my hips and the results were good. My left hip is totally healed and you cant even tell it was pieced backed together, except for the screws!!
He said I am totally healed and have no restrictions!! Makes me very happy but not unexpected at all. I have not been having any issues at all with my left hip for a long time.
I did however, discuss my right hip pain with him. It really has been bugging me off an on since I saw him in September. He told me that it really is up to me based on the pain. If it gets really bad he wants me to make an appointment and he will schedule an MRI and go from there.
So I would say it was a good visit but I am still faced with a very sore right hip that I need watch and hope the pain goes away. I am not been rehabbing like I should so I need to step it up.
I know that is going to be the key. Otherwise I am faced with another crappy surgery that was no fun at all!!
I would say that the results were great just a crappy journey!!
Talk to you later.....

Busy Weekend
It was a very very busy weekend! This was the weekend we did our Christmas Tree lot for Aaron's Scout Troop. It was sponsored by Trees for Troops. It is a great program to help get Christmas trees to our troops stationed all over the US and out of the country.
We did OK. Spent half the day Saturday selling trees. It was fun. Aaron did a great job. It was very very cold!!!!
Saturday night I went with Theresa to her works Christmas Party at El Gaucho. The food was great, the wine was great and the beer was great. Nothing bad about at all.
Sunday morning came too quickly. I was tired and very very sore. I was limping pretty bad and in a grumpy mood. I need to work on that. I can't let my sore hips spill over into how I treat everyone.
Anyway, it was busy but a fun weekend! No I did not put up my Christmas lights. Try to do it this weekend. Need to set up my tree too.
Today, both my hips are on fire. I was limping like crazy all day long. I have to be honest, I did not expect to be still feeling crappy. I know I sound like a broken record, but by this time I really was expecting to be telling the world how great I feel and everything is back to normal.. STILL WAITING.
I rode the bike today instead of swimming. I have not been doing anything since before Thanksgiving, so I hope this helps.
Well that was my RANT for the day.
